Daily prayers* will take place each morning of Congress 2008. Led by South African Phumzile Zondi-Mabizela , head of the KwaZulu Natal Christian Council, they will include multiple faith and values perspectives, meditations, Bible studies and singing. Bible studies will be selected in relation to the Congress programme’s daily theme.

*WACC follows the guidance of the World Council of Churches in matters of worship and accepts that what is sometimes referred to as "worship"  is, more inclusively, referred to as "prayers".

A quiet space for meditation will also be available throughout Congress 2008 for people wishing to escape the hurly-burly of activities and events.
