This series of workshops in print journalism offers skills upgrading for practising journalists who wish to file stories with news agencies.  A series of practical exercises based on daily writing assignments will focus on identifying stories, recognizing the news angle, checking information and citing sources. The workshop series will be led by the editors of Ecumenical News International (ENI), a newswire service based in Geneva (www.eni.ch ) 

Workshop participants are expected to attend all sessions. Registration is available only to full-time Congress 2008 participants. Enrolment is restricted by class size. Successful applicants will receive confirmation of their selection in July 2008.
